About Us

The original 'Approval of Organization Certificate' was for La Porte County School Employees Federal Credit Union on December 31, 1959 issued by the Bureau of Federal Credit Unions. Since then we have grown to include teachers, health care providers, and special employee groups in seven Indiana counties. First Trust CU offers full service financial centers located in Michigan City, LaPorte, Valparaiso and Wheatfield.
